RAWA & Methven Minutes

Regardless of all this, from the outside looking in we will look a f***ing shambles. Hate how we are portrayed at times.

May i say that these organisations, who appear to comprise of people full of their own importance, do not speak for me or the branch of which I am chairman. Who do they think they are demanding this and that get behind the club and give them your full support, I speak as a supporter who saw his first game in 1957 and got his first season ticket in1973.

I refuse to believe that nobody in your branch wants Donald to sell up.

I'm fully behind the team, i'll even give and think old Parky should have a chance to turn things around but I do not have any faith in Donald running our club.

I speak as a supporter and a Jarra lad who's been going for 40 odd years.

You're not going to get them...I'm pretty sure going into these discussions there is a formal agreement made to say that all parties must sign off on minutes before they are released. There may be some legal repercussions if they're released without agreement.
Would it be too coincidental if there was a laptop theft and subsequent leak of said minutes?
Okey dokey marra tell us what you want and we’ll all fall into line.
Isn't that the Hokey Cokey? 😂

To be fair I don't think there's much point. @Ghandi Floss has already said that there wasn't any "smoking gun". There's nothing awful that could affect the future of the club. From what I remember he basically said it was a frank, slightly heated but not adversarial, exchange of views. Methven then apparently made a couple of ill-advised comments but he's left the board now so I don't see what we gain by dragging them up. From what we've heard previously it sounds like people think there's a lot more to these minutes than is actually the case

Respect what you are saying mate but I disagree on this one.

Donald can't be simultaneously pleading innocence and honour -using minutes from a rescheduled meeting to substantiate his narrative- whilst deliberatly withholding the minutes from the orgianal meeting because they don't suit him.

If he's trying to use the re written minutes to create divison and animosity between fans, then the orginal minutes should be made available.

You might be right mate, and to be fair on something as important as this I don't expect everyone to agree. I just think these minutes have been overblown because I'm sure RAWA have said there wasn't anything really bad in them, the meeting just got sidetracked and lots of things weren't fully discussed. If there is something serious in them then of course I'd want then released as well!

Agreed, they keep getting dragged up, but @Ghandi Floss was there and he has already said there is nothing to hide. They are observing correct protocol in not publishing these and I don't really think given @Ghandi Floss 's comments that it would serve any purpose anyway (except perhaps to stop some of the rumours)
Do you want a pm?

No. You can post it openly on the thread if it is true.

Sound full of your own self importance there - what have your dates got to do with anything?

Divnt ban me then!

This was from one of the minutes of meetings I seen from a branch member, roughly a few weeks before Xmas. I’m not sure if it was the one Methven was rumoured to have took the strop. Anyway, that was one of his quotes along with that our fans put a negative spin on things and turn it childlike, which has an effect on future investment. He also went on to say that there is a significant problem with Sunderland fans, and we are known in the game to be an issue and it isn’t attractive to future investors. He needs the help to tackle the “Sunderland disease”

The BLC have two or three representatives at every meeting. I'd suggest you speak to them. They did ask the branches for questions.
