The Empire was a fantastic place mid to late 90s. What is it these days?
It's definitely a club of sorts. I was at the town hall one Friday couple of months ago and passed it as people were going in. Brought the memories flooding back ha

Dodgy and dangery as fuck when you think back.Using the white lines on the a19 to navigate home. Jesus how we didn’t die or kill someone
What does that mean? It’s decent. Huge place. Closes this year as they’ve opened beams.
She loved it, she went to the colosseum a couple times but the music policy changed and it got harder and faster and that’s when she hung her raving shoes up.The venue was horrendous
Not sure mate I was always in the balcony near the DJ box

I remember we were coming home one night in a mini bus after the Tall Trees. Half way down the A19 and there was a car up the embankment with two lads standing outside it looking at each other and scratching their headsYeah but the acceptable thing in them days. Pulled many times with consequences.
Shocking and I thank god our luck never ran out
Really, really good. Went for the first time just before Christmas and the sound system took me straight to Ibiza, class vibes/set up.Whats Printworks like??
I saw a clip of it yesterday of someone playing "Insomnia" & in fairness, it looked out of this world.

To be fair I absolutely love the European hardcore, Scottish hardcore and English happy hardcore from that era. Paul Elstak, Marc Smith, Scott Brown, Force & Styles etcThat's when it turned to shit.
Sadly it's embedded in the heads of plenty with limited taste in dance music.
never drove but hated being a passenger...quite unpleasantUsing the white lines on the a19 to navigate home. Jesus how we didn’t die or kill someone

No one cared who you were or what you looked like before then
Judgement Day wasn’t an all nighter was it? Certainly wasn’t a club, was in the Uni amongst other venues. Not one of you have mentioned the best of the lot.
Judgement Day.
The blue monkey and new monkey were absolute worlds apart matePallions finest discothequeIt was rough as fuck, but never saw any bother. I was only a bairn though really, fortunately it was over 16s and I had a full on beard by the time I was 14
I still listen to rave music every day, be that late 80s house up to present day Gabba and everything in between. I would have loved to have gone to Philmores, The Eclipse etc. My mam used to go to the Blue Monkey and The Venue, she must have passed the raving gene onto me.
hated hardcore as well mind ....was having a horrible night at Telford one DJ after another and then Sasha came on and stood the place on its headAbsolutely woeful.
It needed trance to give things a good kick up the arse.
I'm only on about the music.
Print work owners have opened a new venue beams. Due to print work closing down to be office space or something. It’s a shame as a cracking place but beams is meant to be 100% spot on. Ill be venturing there in summerWhat does that mean?
Ya right, I’ve completely ignored the point ffs.Judgement Day wasn’t an all nighter was it? Certainly wasn’t a club, was in the Uni amongst other venues.
