Basically what said at the other ones but he did mention a bad point from my point of view which is the away fans cant be moved to the NW upper corner due to the council and police rejecting also said planning permission would be impossible

Just got back also as I got two free tickets as a lad at work could not make it and all I can say is.....WOW!

What a club we support, both Bruce and Quinn are in for the long haul in order to get this club to where we all want to be, in Europe. The belief and dreams the big man has for SAFC is simply astounding. He really has hopes for full stadiums, better deals in the future for loyal supporters, lower prices if him and Milliband can get through to the joke of a government.

Anyone who is refusing to renew or does not think we are heading in the right direction either needs to give their head a shake or support some other club as we are going in the right direction.

Some superb stories from Quinn about his first day as Chairman and having people trying to walk out on him and strengthening the knowledge he now instills in new players to come to this club for the right reasons.

Bruce told some funny stories on Eric Cantona and Bobby Saxton and then the night was ended off brilliantly with a class DVD of why it is important to be a Sunderland fan and stay with them for life.

Proud to have been there and happy to have renewed!

I was also there mate. I thought Bruce was superb, he answered a lot of questions openly and honestly that most managers would avoid.

Totally restored my faith after Sunday.

We've NEVER HAD IT THIS GOOD!!

The Cantona stories were brilliant  seriously though, what a club we support.

Enjoyed every minute of it, we are so lucky to have a board, and manager like what we have. Simply superb!

How people can whinge about anything regarding SAFC is beyond me, we're ran tremendously and we're on the way up.

Anyone that slates quinny is worth fuck all to the club

He said in his own words "im not here to win a popularity contest, just simply improve the club and make it a Worldwide success."

i was n you right

on the pre season tour. Bruce said had a offer from Germany. Quinn said had something on the go west of Ireland.
Quinn also said Milliband offered to work for nothing. but the club refused, made him take a wage so the could take advantage of his contacts in Europe, they said he had already made 3 future deals in Europe on the commercial side.
I was more impressed with Bruce tonight he was class!!!

Quinn was talking about player power and agents and he remembered the 1st day as manager/chairman and he asked to meet every player face to face to say hello and let them know his agenda etc.

He decided to pick the players in alphabetical order so the 1st man to walk into his office was Ben Alnwick, he said "Hi Ben, nice to meet you!" and Alnwick replied with: "Hi, here is my transfer request!"

So he thought Jesus, I will speak to Kelvin Davis, who also greeted him by saying he thinks he is too old to stay or something and may leave" - Quinn got Alnwick back in his office and said here is a 3 year contract and you will start next game. Alnwick picked up his request and walked out a happy man.

Bruce talked about Cantona being the best player he has ever worked with, and told the famous story about when he kicked the fan and how "off the wall" he was and said the police were all over Selhurst and he was having a shower with a massive scratch down his back off the hoarding after the kick. He turned round to Bruce and said "I think I may be in a bit of trouble!" haha

He then seen him after the famous seagulls speech and asked him what it was all about and he replied "Fuck knows but it sounded good!" - class banter like.

Its crazy how much our fans have changed over the last ten years... Cant believe how many doubters and moaners there are at the minute... We used to get behind the team and sing our hearts out no matter what.. now people are moaning when things are going swimmingly...

did anybody ask about recent results?

Bruce is dissapointed in recent form but the run of fixtures and injuries did not help. He was sad about form but knows the last 7 games (1/4 of the season) can be massive for our plans in the market this Summer.

Very open and admitted to making mistakes and his subs on Sunday cost us the game. So respect him for admitting this, where others deny it all.

But does he know how to put it right is the question, I'm not convinced tbh
