He should just fuck around with them and play the youth team. Ungrateful bastards.

The media a re wrecking my head with their reporting of this.."breaking point" "rant" "meltdown"......he's talking the truth, the fans are idiots. The spotlight should be on the idiotic fans not Benitez.

Can't disagree...but the problem is that in different circumstances I kept seeing "Bruce Out" all over the place. Much of it depends on how we define success

Not after six months mind. The fans are idiots. Admittedly many of them wouldn't have wanted Di Matteo sacked but that's not an excuse for refusing to accept his replacement.

True but all he was saying really was that the fans need to get behind the team and that the are making Stamford Bridge a tough place to play in. As he said he is just an "interm" so what exactly are they trying to achieve?

Agreed. On the other hand I despise John Terry and it looks like he'll get his wish of forcing another manager our. I wouldn't piss on John Terry if he was on fire.

Unless I could piss petrol I suppose. Guess I should drink more meths. ;)

Wouldn't be shocked if Terry was officially manager soon

They aren't berating him for the team's performance. They have been protesting since the day he was appointed, even when he had that purple patch.

He has got a point but when managers have meltdowns its always white embarrassing, the biggest example being keegan., and benitez when at Liverpool about how Man utd and Ferguson get treated the best, Ferguson must have loved watching them 2 just make tits of themselves.

Persoanlly I don't think you can look beyond Joe Kinnear, although Walter Smith v Chic Young is canny too

Yep I think he's nailed on for the Real job too

Mourinho to either City or back at Chelsea. Probably the former. Big wage and huge money to spend

Not sure he's the kind of guy to go back somewhere

Mourinho will be at PSG next season with Ancelotti going the other way

training ground dispute similar to the scrap Balotelli had with Mancini. Mancini hasn't cried off.

Have you not noticed that Balotelli has been binned?
Can Benitez do that with Terry?

Even if you look at what Benitez said about Chelsea, it was very minor. He said he couldn't ever see himself managing Chelsea but in the same sentence said something along the lines of Chelsea are a great club and any ambitious manager would love to work there but, as he was manager of their rivals, Liverpool, at the time, he couldn't see it.

These are just spoilt Chelsea rent boys. Hope it all blows up in their faces.

It shouldn't be about Rafa though, it should be about supporting your team. All they are doing is causing unrest which is harming the team. They know he's gone in the summer anyway so why not back their team and help them to finish 3rd and maybe win a trophy?

Having second thoughts about my opinion that I made yesterday. Bloke at work asked me today, "What would your reaction be if, when O'Neill leaves, Ellis Short appointed Pardew?"

My response was that I'd go f***ing mental, no way would I just accept it, so maybe I can see their point.

Liverpool & Chelsea aren't even rivals never mind a local rivalry, can't even compare.

They were competitive rivals during Benitez's reign at Liverpool though and over a 4-5 year period. If anything, Pardew hasn't done anything or provoked us as much as Rafa did to Chelsea.

Are managers not allowed to tell us the way they are feeling without being classed as a meltdown or rant?

But it was a rant - a controlled rant, but a rant all the same.
And you never know it might have actually worked. Sounds to me like Roman is getting a bit fed up of player power at the Bridge, so maybe he'll back the boss and boot out Terry. I wonder if he regrets being a little bit hasty getting shot of AVB as Spurs now look a decent bet to finish above them.
