haven't seen any post match stuff, still recovering from the drink.

Benitez has 2 bad injuries to strengthen his hand for a new defender, if he gets turned down then it will be interesting.Bad day all round on lots of fronts yesterday and just another page in the shit storm that is us, i wish we just normal.

never mind

Ashley has set his stall out.....sell if you want to buy. No one will take your players because they're championship quality on PL wages.

Injuries won't change that, he's got a big squad.....it's just bloated with championship players he signed to ensure promotion.

There will be a long queue of clubs fighting over Colbacks signature, only on £50,000 a week.

surely the mags are going to have to subsidise some wages if they want some of the shite off their books

No chance. Ashley will have them stacking boxes at his warehouses before he pays them to work for someone else.

He's going nowhere as he somehow signed a contract that says any new employer has to pay the Mags a hefty amount of compensation even if he walks away from this job.

Since that was revealed by George Caulkin, it is clear that any talk of him leaving is just posturing.

There's no team in England that will pay that compensation and he doesn't want to leave his family in the UK again so he will be staying unless sacked.

The Mags are basically in the position we found ourselves in over the last few PL seasons, lots of players on good money not fit to do the job in that league and no money / wages for any better. As it stands it could be a bad season, guess we will see how good a manager Rafa is if he stays.

Yeah said it before we will struggle but looking at the weekend id be amazed if we stay up, even 30 points looks a million miles away

We looked very solid defensively until Shelvey was sent off, personally not worried this season we will be comfortable if we defend that well made Spurs look toothless, much better than West Ham, Brighton, Palace and Stoke looked just need a good striker and we'll be good

Looked fairly comfortable until shelveys idiotic moment - it was probably the best possible time to play spurs with both full backs out which is a massive part of their game plan, the loss of walker, no new signings which will change this week and rose unsettling comments in the week. Biggest concern for nufc is where the goals are coming from imo.
