Race across the world

Gives you the itch to travel again this show. Really fancy Argentina.

Always wanted to go to Argentina. Does give me the itch. I went backpacking 15 years back though did most of it in organised groups as I am a massive spanner who would struggle on my own. My daughter is 10 now, I reckon in 6 or 7 years i could look at doing something.

They're starting to get on my tits now, my heart sank a bit when they went back north last night, why does every one of them have to have a story ? Sam needs a slap
None if the stories are that in depth, so they do get a bit repetitive.
Sam seems a bit spoiled, has Jo done or seen anything she wanted?
Why doesnt anyone go to the pub, bloody donkeys, stupid watta faals, no one has gone to the pub, picked a fight with a local or stood on a chair and sung my garden shed - bunch of knackers
Travelling the world isn't really for you is it BJ?

In there first series you got some natural tension between teams which is to be expected but in this one there is some genuine nastiness which can be uncomfortable to watch

I think you are right - I would hire a car drive non stop sharing the driving. Get on the beach get drunk get disqualified and see all the crap sights on you tube when I got home

I thought to watch this foolishness because they were travelling a route that I have followed from Mexico through Central America and in to Colombia

However I could not watch more than about 15 mins of it because of the nature of the contestants who were all shit eaters of the worst kind.

She seems to want to see her son happy. It's possible the problems he had with ADD as a teenager have been downplayed.

Agreed about the stories/back stories. The only ones we're seeing in much depth are the uncle/nephew, specifically the cuts back to the uncle's wife.

He actually went to a special school which isn't easy to do.

Edit to above, I think Jen and Rob did both the above.

They did. They made a definite decision to enjoy this leg (as much as Jen can enjoy anything). Her complaints about a different language were odd. Travelling through South America and not going to Brazil at all would have been daft, even though it means being geographically a bit daft.

Copacabana was the same 20+ years ago. Back streets could be dodgy after dark. Like you say, see the beach, maybe have a look at the fort and move on. It trades on its name really.

Me and my son walked around the Lagoa one Saturday morning and it was great. The Flamengo sports club was awesome.

Went to see Vasco da Gama one night. Area was dodgy as feck. Crackin game. Went with local tour Co.who kept us safe.

You do need to be wary late on when crowds have gone home but use common sense and shud have no bother.

He seems massively spoilt. Eating three meals while his mam goes hungry back at hostel. Refusing to work while his mam grafts indoors. Wonder how often hes been told no.
