Really hope this is true , even if we’re in the shit financially just to have people st the helm who genuinely would give some hope

This BBC article (see the link posted by @The Raven above) seems to put a rather different slant on things with the consortium being given two years' grace to sort out the football side with Short continuing to finance off field activities, whatever that means, in order to ensure we don't go into administration. Then he wants his funds back, whatever that means. Seems an unusual arrangement, if true. Hopefully better than the current set up like

We are ibvioobvi a premier league club in fanbase and stuff but I just don't see how we'd ever be a goldmine, in terms of income generated we make the same as a club with about 25 thousand fans from more affluent areas, we can be successful but not to the level we or the mags think we can be.

I hate the mags but neither one of us will ever compete at the top unless we get owners like man city did, and they didn't buy either if us for a reason.

This so true, people think getting 45k earns us more money than a lot of clubs, it really really doesn't

We are a potential goldmine. All we need is shit loads of money. 90% of other clubs have nothing like the fan-base and would take years upon years to reach our level of facilities/capacity.
A run of wins & about half a billion quid is all we need

300 million was not enough for Jose, I’d love to see him working on a budget, the tosspot.
