Wey it couldnt get anymore reliable than who i was told by - however it wasnt directly from the bloke involved at Shields.Reliable source? Surely would need a wealthy consortium behind him.

He's dusting off his impossibly white jeans and firing up the motor to the twin prop as we speak............Anyone think Quinn could be waiting in the wings until we are relegated to buy the club at a knock down price with a new consortium????
@Ponteland Mackem isn't it?Isn’t the Shields blokes son a poster on here, or did I just make that up
Alreet kaz lad ye knaar stuff. No he has not I just asked Jeff

Aye. Why would he want to miss out on this goldmine?
Crowds mean nowt to moneymen now mate, its all in the TV deals. Look at Arsenal 2 years ago, they made a £105m profit, of which only £3.5m was ticket sale profits. It is a goldmine Safc.
A club that can fill a stadium for finishing 17th in the premier.
Any sort of a winning run brings the crowds flocking back.
They sell plenty of merchandise worldwide.
There will be a few looking at it seriously but will wait until the arse totally drops out of SAFC and they can pick it up for a song. That day wont be too far off.One group looking at it very seriously apparently I have been told. A way off yet though.
Most likely right. One group is getting very close from what I have been told. There will be a few looking at it seriously but will wait until the arse totally drops out of SAFC and they can pick it up for a song. That day wont be too far off.
You’ve just said it’s way off yet. A lot of work done in those 35 minutesMost likely right. One group is getting very close from what I have been told.
Shush it’s getting sined later this hourYou’ve just said it’s way off yet. A lot of work done in those 35 minutes
We are in a right pickleIt's Branson...Albert Branson who is Richard's lesser known brother.
I think we should charge £10-£15 a match, £5 for kids, whatever league we are in, like some big European clubs do. Attract more kids which are the future, if I was buying the club and I was going to invest to bring us back, I would also extend as 60,000 will be needed to compete. Let teams bring more away fans aswell to help the atmosphere. One for a better future obviously. It would create a dilemma for the mags as well as they would then need to increase their stadium and they would struggle to do that because of where it is.Crowds mean nowt to moneymen now mate, its all in the TV deals. It’s always a way off. One stumbling block is what I have been told but not how big it is I’m not sure. It’s one mate with a small source so most probably nothing. You’ve just said it’s way off yet. A lot of work done in those 35 minutes
You're right, I've actually been amazed at the amount this forum can attract at times, it's phenomenal really, as the fan base would appear to be quite local to the Northeast, a handful of us Irish a few Scandinavians I've seen at matches a few times and the ex pats you mention, but the traffic of this forum must paint another picture. I agree with your first post, for me there is No question, the Club has Massive potential once in the right handsYes. Look at a match thread and the numbers it attracts?
Usually over 50000 a game from all over the world ex pats etc.
I know it's not in, to have nowt but gloom but it's reality.
We have over a million people following on Facebook.
There is a fan base for Safc the envy of about 90% of the whole of English football
