Anyone think Quinn could be waiting in the wings until we are relegated to buy the club at a knock down price with a new consortium????
You can tell by his silence, 'been there done that'. Don't blame him one iota.

I would not be surprised to see our Roy back as part of a future takeover.

He would see the potential. Let's see eh?
Keane knows the potential. He's already on record saying how fantastic a club it is and supporters.

Yes. Look at a match thread and the numbers it attracts?

Usually over 50000 a game from all over the world ex pats etc.

I know it's not in, to have nowt but gloom but it's reality.

We have over a million people following on Facebook.

There is a fan base for Safc the envy of about 90% of the whole of English football
Genuinely did not know matey, pretty impressive. Makes what happens on the pitch even more tragic.

Not insignificant figures and that is for a club, that bar a few bright interludes, has won sod all since 1973

Got the feeling Quinny was a bit sick of all the hassle by the time he left.

I think he went into it with the belief that with Murray gone and Premier League football back the ground would be packed out, but it never really happened. There was a lot of 40k+ gates but I suspect they were boosted by cheapies/freebies.

Then there was the thing with people watching the foreign channel in pubs. He used some wrong words, but I think he felt like people were taking the mick a bit. Here he was getting investment for the team and people couldn’t be fussed to turn up and watch in person.

Also things like the Bent/Gyan transfers seemed to give him a lack of faith in modern footballers too.

Personally I’ll always be grateful for him for having the vision and faith to drag us off our knees a decade or so ago. At the time there was every chance of us heading where we are now.

We are a potential goldmine. All we need is shit loads of money. 90% of other clubs have nothing like the fan-base and would take years upon years to reach our level of facilities/capacity.
A run of wins & about half a billion quid is all we need
