Quick question

simply put......

going on a cruise (ooh look at me etc.......) and discovered last year that for getting better shots I probably need a decent telephoto lens for shooting ship-to-shore and vice-versa as well as decent landscape shots.

what would the gurus recommend for a Canon D-600?

Depending on your budget I'd go for a decent bridge camera, plenty of zoom. Panasonic lumix FZ72 big fan of the lumix cameras

Just realised you've probably already got the d-600, if like m43 a decent telephoto is going to cost a bomb, so I'd go for a bridge.. Goodnight

Or.....try a tamron or sigma 70-300. Both can be had new for under £100 (jessops). Not the best by any stretch, but a decent budget option.

That's what I was about to suggest. I have the Sigma and it's a great lens.
