Gascoigne was shitfaced. They used to film on a Sunday after a roast dinner and it was in the days of Botham and Beaumont. Beefy told Gascoigne Advocaat was alcohol free and he downed at least a bottle. He couldn't speak and took about forty minutes to answer one question.
