It's a decent song but not the best of the 10's. Adele and Ed Sheeran have done better, as has Pharrell....and I don't even like modern 'pop'.

Q would work better as a nostalgia magazine now. In the vein of Uncut etc. People, like me, who needed to know the details of a song/album and an artist's motivation etc are a thing of the past. Modern popular music is like a single use plastic straw or a Starbucks disposable cup.

I really like it but wouldn't rate it song of the decade..

The National released High Violet in 2010, any one of the 11 tracks would be stronger contenders imo. But all this "best song" is pretty meaningless with music appreciation being so subjective.

A man of taste!!!

Whilst i like Video Games it is nowhere near Sorrow or Bloodbuzz Ohio.

I love Video Games. Great song. Very evocative. Piano is good on it, her voice is class, the build up in the chorus is mint as well.

Not the best song of the decade like, but as said above taste is subjective.
