Weird one this...

I’ve gone through life believing everyone just leaves their toaster out on the kitchen work surfaces at all times.

Over the last few days I’ve found out that two people put theirs away when they’re finished using it.

Are these people just freaks or does anyone else do this?

Ours is used daily and so lives on the worktop.

My kitchen surfaces are only a bit deeper than the cupboards above them. I leave the kettle and toaster at the back underneath the cupboards when not in use, then bring them to the front to use them so that they don't pour steam/heat directly into the bottom of the cupboards, then push them back afterwards.
