Pubs

When we come out of lockdown it will only be 3 weeks to Xmas. Most places will go into tier 2. You have to reward places for actually adhering to lockdown and bringing the stats down.

Anywhere over 400 or 500 cases per 100,000 will be in danger of being placed in tier 3 IMO.

Newcastle is currently 390, Sunderland 330 with both moving in the right direction.
It's the cases In over 60s that they look closer at.

If it's not falling in that bracket then into Tier 3 you go.

Off topic but for a colour "blind" person it's really annoying how many graphs and keys use colours. The one on the daily mail headline now for example will be a total waste of time for 1/12 men. Nobody gives a shit about colour vision problems , of course, just saying.

Nope. There is no way the whole North East will be lumped together. No chance. They haven't done it anywhere else.

They have now.
Whacked us in with the Sheffield Scummers.
Derbyshire borders Sheffield, Manchester and Nottingham.
Pub migration would have been rife.
That's ours shut for the next three to four months.

They haven't lumped the whole North East together. They have put 2 different regions in tier 3. Tees and ourselves.

They're not NE. But that wasn't the point, they've lumped loads of cities / towns together. And we've still all ended up together in Tier fucked.

2 North East areas as below.

If we continue to improve and the likes of Hartlepool, Stockton and Redcar lag behind we'll come out of tier 3 and they won't.

  • North East Combined Authority:
    • County Durham
    • Gateshead
    • Newcastle upon Tyne
    • North Tyneside
    • Northumberland
    • South Tyneside
    • Sunderland
  • Tees Valley Combined Authority:
    • Darlington
    • Hartlepool
    • Middlesbrough
    • Redcar and Cleveland
    • Stockton-on-Tees

So they have lumped all of the North East together

Obviously those others won't come out, as they're in Tees Valley

Not sure that would be a good thing before the 5 days of spreading tbh.

I think the bar was becoming the fish shop, and the drinking done in the lounge ( 😂 )
Some seem to think that the lounge will be the fish shop.
To be honest I don't know marra.
Or really care to be honest😂

i've been watching it develop for a few months but today the 'chippy' sign was up above the side entrance nearest to the Excelsior so the lounge would be the drinking end
