Pubs that still have VAUX signs

Just seen a picture on Facebook of a mate outside a pub in Spennymoor that has the old Vaux signage. I did a double take.

Are there many traces still about in the Northeast?

there was a pub in Ryhope shut down years ago and outside was one of them stone/porcelain plaques outside the door, obviously VAUX, and I was gonna go round there and just take the c*nt off myself. I think the place (The Wellington) has been shut down near twenty year.
Anyway I think during COVID they were doing the place up as if it was gonna open again and when I last walked past the VAUX plaque had gone. Maybe they just took a business bounce-back loan and fucked the idea of opening it off, I dunno

that wasn't a vaux pub, next door the prince of wales was

Pub in Gilesgate, possibly called the shoes. Our supporters branch coach goes past it on way to match. It's got plenty of the old vaux signage
