Pub getting raided

Nobody thinks they are harmless fun marra. Many think that the billions of £ in associated profits would be better spent on rehabilitation and more police resources. Even though they are illegal they are easy to obtain and youngens with insta/snap can buy them as easy as you would buy a pint.
Loads on here think it's harmless fun, look at any of the threads mentioning cocaine.

Believe it or not was in a bar in Gosforth about 5 years ago where it happened. Cops stood at all exits and sent the dogs in. Canny few were lifted mind.

seen one at Creamfields , basically police ran into a tent with dogs and marched people out. It was clearly well planned as they knew exactly who to get and where. I thought the fact the dog was able to tolerate loud banging music was pretty amazing
'kinell at creamfields they'd have been better off utilising cocaine bear

The police will be under pressure to make arrests to hit targets or make their leadership look good. The Xmas drug driving stops is the biggest con. It’s almost zero tolerance on narcotics meaning people who are not under the influence but carry traces in their system so get their lives turned upside down so the police can publish numbers. Have the equivalent of a couple of pints in your system and you are ok.
Targeting dealers marra not customers.

These particular suppliers are thick as shit.
Suppliers to me are the lads supplying your average dealer. The polis know pretty much most of the dealers, for every dealer they put away there’s another 2 take their place.. follow the dealer to build a case on the supplier

They were targeting dealers by your definition then.

Not really. It’s hard working folk having their release. It’s a complete waste of police money what they could use in actual crimes
If folk get a caution -does that affect future job prospects ? ( thinking checks by say the armed forces nhs fire ?)

Should probably just close all bars and pubs. It's illegal to sell alcohol to someone who is drunk and I be surprised if every bar, pub and club in the country wasn't guilty of that.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the majority of people under 40 think that the war on drugs is a massive waste of time and money.

Well it is when the government pay to import and snort most of it. Not only that but have the biggest grow of cannabis in the world. Don’t really set a great example themselves.

Seems to be happening quite regularly in Durham now they raided the boathouse last year and done Lloyds after the same night. The dog was f***ing shite like but was class seeing everyone shitting themselves, just hoyed mine inside me cocktail.
