Hollow Knight is Metroidvania.
Returnal is a Rogue Like.
Similar mechanics in that you find stuff to push on but metroidvania doesn’t involve dying and starting at the beginning every bastard time

Upped my sub to extra and probably have enough to keep me going for a long time looking at the length of some of the stuff I've got. The essential stuff rarely appeals these days.
