Proctor And Dodds

Tell me how he hid?
Hadn't been involved with the first team.
We'd just been thrashed 6 nowt with experienced players like player of the season Batth and Evans in the side. Confidence was low.
Had to take over managing a pro team for the first time in his life, with players he hadnt worked with. Didn't want to take over as they had done nothing like this before but stepped up as no one else would, and they knew it was only for the short term to help the club out.

The 3 games he was in charge were poor performances, but to personally insult him as a coward is ridiculous. I think the majority of people find people who insult without any reasonable rational arseholes.
Then for the rest of the season working as coaches under Alex Neil they did such a good job they were both promoted to first team coaches.

Seems to me if you were on a plane and the pilots had heart attacks and someone from the cabin stepped up to fly the plane and crashed it youd call them a coward and a bottle job.

You've personally insulted someone - explain how they are cowards ?

Worst than Bolton 6 nowt?
They were out of their depth and took over for a short period of time till sometime suitable could come in.

Do you not think we play golf football?
Hit a cows arse at training? We are the 4 th top scorers and 3rd best goal difference.
What planet are people on saying such utter rubbish ?
'good' not 'golf' !
That might be the worst analogy ive ever heard in my life, Comparing a pilot having a heart attack to preparing a team for a football match. Hahaha jesus!

Pair of cowards. When they got left in charge for them couple of games they had a great opportunity to do it there way and make changes with nothing to lose but instead they absolutely bottled it and had 2 shocking results.
Pack of cowards? They’re not managers, they have no experience, they may not have any interest in management… cowards is extremely harsh.

Good swerve.

You're not bright.
The analogy is someone stepping up to do a role that they don't do and not hiding.

They completely hid. Nervous wreck on the sideline, Didnt dare make subs. Didnt dare change anything from the bolton debacle the week before, Made up a load of excuses in the interviews after the games and only made subs as fans pressure increased. Even Pritchard and Corry Evans were telling them what to do. Should of been sacked on the spot. Both been in football a long long time and they both were completely inept when it came to the crunch, They literally had a free hit and completely bottled it and took the easy safe approach. Bottle jobs!

If two football coaches that have been in football for years cant make decisions and cant set a team up or influence a team from the sidelines then what on earth are they doing in football?? You making it sound like they were dealing with a heart transplant.

They may do the role bad and not be suited to it, but they're certainly not cowards

It was a horrible unfounded personal insult.

Sacked on the spot for being bad in a role that they didn't want to take in a position that they didn't want to do and had no experience.

Smh
You do know that proctor hadnt been involved in Amy first team coaching and was then thrust into managing safc after we lost 6 nowt

He had been doing the u23s.

If we employ two football coaches that dont no what to do in a football sense then whats the point? Two training ground happy clappers going round slapping the players bums telling them how great they are. Both cowards imo and thats my opinion and it will never change so ill be checking out this conversation

Think Dodds was in charge of individual player development
Now he has to take the first team and manage them and he's a coward as he gets things wrong.

All coaches don't make good managers.
As is evident.
It's not cowardice.
Check out , and good riddance

No problem Mike 👍

With these two taking training everyday, and also in the the ear of Mowbray during the game, should these two also take responsibilty for the way we set up, defend, set pieces and no strikers? I know they did good in the academy, but 1st team caretakers and coaches, are they any good. Are they telling Tony who are training well and not training well and that's who Tony picks. Mark Venus just sits most of the time too observing and giving feedback.

If we had a striker who was scoring regularly no one would have any interest.

The margins are that fine.

Jesus man we just lost 3 games.
We won one game in 9 earlier this year and I didn’t see this irrational stuff.
The coaches don’t chose the players… they coach who they are given.
Everyone knows they have not been given good enough strikers or enough depth in quality in centre midfield or centre half. The spine of the team effectively is light weight.
The way we play and overcome this is a credit to our coaches.
But at times when fatigue and injuries kick in we will struggle. This run of three losses can effectively be attributed to Ekwah being injured, Neil being overran as a consequence and Ekwah being rushed back clearly not match fit.

If those two are back up to speed tomorrow we will probably win. If not we will probably lose another game.

Lose Clarke or Ballard and same thing is going to happen
What’s Mark Venus role?

That’s something to do with Bananarama.

Tbf Proctor has the tactical masterclass in all three areas - your own striker turning the ball into his own net from a corner leaving the defenders to fully focus on ensuring that the opposition forwards don't have any chance to score.
