Has he ever bought home tickets in any previous seasons? I've definitely bought fuck all in the last 2 seasons and the last thing I bought was probably my season ticket in 2002. Yet it's allowed me to register my account on ticketmaster using my account number, probably due to the Phase 2 Walsall golden ticket loophole

Sorry as I'm able to laugh as I don't want to go but I feel for those who really should be getting a ticket but may miss out
When did u order the Walsall ticket?

but the statement doesn’t specify HOME in the second bullet point, thats what’s causing confusion. If the above is true its a disgrace, if it’s only home purchases it should say this clearly, it doesn’t.
I’ve got all away history and was able to register on Wednesday so have an account, bought a Walsall ticket too as the lack of the word HOME in the second bullet point lead me to beleive i would go into phase 2, now it looks like I don’t even qualify for phase 3. Not sure how i could register at all if this is the case.

Possibly because we're using system next year so allows anyone to sign up (albeit some have issues registering)

My mates in the same boat... Second bullet point doesn't say home so he's bought a Walsall ticket and thinks he's in Phase 2. Think there will be a lot of people trying to get tickets on Tuesday morning who don't qualify for phase 2

My only safc.com ticket purchase on my account is for Barnsley on Tuesday , so that means i go into Priority 3 right?

Priority 2, Tuesday 12 March

Priority two is open for...

  • Supporters who have a recent home league ticket purchase history with the club (this refers to the previous two seasons, from 2017-18 onwards).
  • Supporters with a purchase history from the 2016-17 season or beyond, who have also purchased a Walsall ticket. Please note, the Walsall ticket must be purchased by 10am on Monday 11 March in order to meet the criteria.

Priority 3, Wednesday 13 March
Priority 3 is for any remaining supporters who have a recent league ticket purchase history with the club.

Priority 3. My only purchases on my account are Sheff Wed League Cup, Blackpool away and Mags in Checkertrade Trophy ..... got to laugh really the Final of the Checkatrade Trophy and a purchase history of that event does not count
:lol::lol::lol:

Can someone clarify something? People keep talking about a ticket for walsall. I have a ticket from birmingham game in december 2017. And another for fulham that month. That is a home league game in 17/18 season. Therefore i dont need a walsall ticket. Is that correct?
People needing a walsall ticket is for purchase history before 17/18 season? Thats how its worded on safc.com

Correct.

Is phase two open all day ( obviously if tickets are still available ) or does it cut off at a certain time like away tickets do

I haven't, I just activated my customer number as it let me and I've got til 10am Monday to buy one if I wanted too. That's what I've been bitching about in that thread below as theoretically I could buy a Walsall ticket and get into Phase 2 seeing as it's allowed me to activate my account as I must have some purchase history from years ago.

That's why this Walsall Golden Ticket was a bad move by the club in my opinion to shift a few tickets. That surely means the door is now open for 1,000s of bandwagoners to jump on to Wembley experience who haven't been to a game potentially now pushing out 1,000's who've been to matches since we got relegated from the Premier League. They didn't give a fuck about the lower leagues and certainly don't give a fuck about some Mickey Mouse Cup and once Wembley is over will desert the club again! (unless we get there again in the play offs)

My thread was too long to read for some (probably season ticket holders who don't give a fuck about anyone else who still goes to games) but now the reality of what I was saying is sinking in

No loyalty, cashing in or clueless?

After all the crap I've seen from fans on here regarding various situations, I think the club have shown no loyalty to fans who stuck with the club after 2 successive relegation, are cashing in on the Walsall game and clueless given the fuck up in the press release/what has been said on twitter/phones/emails etc now.

It's a shame like as nowt against the club but it's the genuine fans who will be going to future games regardless of what league we're in are possibly going to miss out if Phase 2 is as popular as I think it's going to be!

Has anyone with only away purchase history and a Walsall ticket had any luck activating? I've been trying all weekend and not been able to. No confirmation from the club that I've seen, needs to be sorted by tomorrow!

A few lads I know who watch the match in the pubs in the town - and who never go over to the SOL to watch and support SAFC - are going mad to get tickets.
Think they might be disappointed like.;)

I'm waiting for phase 2 to get a ticket with my mate, however, he only has an away history and a ticket for Walsall. He's signed up but I have a feeling it won't let him get a ticket until Phase 3 which might be too late.

You’ve come a cropper Roy.

If you can activate your account on TM I reckon you'll be ok if you buy a Walsall ticket. I think only people who are eligible can sign up on ticketmaster at the minute. 2 of my mates tried to sign up with their customer number and it didn't work.
Living on the southcoast I tend to only go to away games. I don't think I have any home game purchase history and yet my account is activated? I've got my ticket anyway just wondering why I could activate

According to the emails I have received from the SAFC SLO, phase 2 is specifically for home purchase history only. I have asked for extra clarification as as you say, the website doesn't specify this in the '16/17 or beyond' part
On the statement on the website it states ‘home’ purchase history in the first statement then purchase history plus Walsall in the second. No mention of home in the statement. Then the emails saying home only. A bit of a fiasco that is easy to pick holes in.

That’s where I’m at, plenty of away + Walsall. I registered ok before buying the Walsall ticket. Don’t hold out much hope though. Maybe someone who lives in Sunderland and went to a home game in 2015 but paid for Walsall will sell me their ticket at an inflated price.

I agree that the Walsall ticket element doesn't enhance the club's image but as an exile I have only managed away games this season as I was away at Christmas when I would normally have managed a home fixture. I imagine there are plenty others in this situation. I accept I'm not financially supporting the club but I am an active supporter of the team.

I was in the ticket office this morning as id been trying to buy the Walsall ticket online on my account but it wasn't letting me....so went over to sort it...the lass was lovely got it sorted out and I purchased Walsall ticket ...now although I've been to a few games this season including 3 Checkatrade I've either paid on the gate or other lads have been over for the tickets...so she said I got no purchase history on my account and had to give my SC up at the end of '15 season...
I activated my account on ticketmaster on Thursday no problem...but the lass in the ticket office says the Walsall purchase will only put me in to phase 3 ...and she says it definitely won't get that far it'll sell out before that...

You 'should' be in Phase 2 mate if you've got had a season ticket in 2015 as these are the requirements. Probablly just another case of someone at the club doesn't know their arse from their elbow

  • International members.
I'd activate your account at ticketmaster and get on there asap near 10am Tuesday
