Yep that's me, I'm in the same boat. I have home purchase history on my account but only away on my brother's. I've bought a Walsall ticket on his account based on what it says on the website as doesn't clarify it has to be home purchase history, but I can't activate his account.

if you get it sorted will you let me know

No it isn't as I registered mine today (bearing in mind I haven't got any purchase history for the last 2 seasons) and I only got the email from SAFC at 6:12pm last night. If it had been that the cut off was yesterday then it's not leaving much time for people to activate their valid account now is it? There'd be uproar that people missed it as it cut off yesterday. I think if there is a 'cutoff' to register then it's probably up until Phase 2 which is 10am Tuesday.
The cutoff was to confirm eligibility to buy tickets in time for release today.

So obviously not relevant to phase 2 people which this thread is about but where did it say this about phase 1 having a cut off or was it a tweet by someone? The email says fuck all about a cut off for activating the account but had the info for all 3 phases.

If I was a season ticket holder and wasn't able to get registered yesterday as I was out putting out fires as I worked as a fireman then I'd be a bit knarked that I couldn't simply register today and get a bash at buying a ticket.

Check the first thing the club website put out after reaching Wembley it said had Wednesday and Thursday to register an account with ticket master .
Unless they've changed that like they have changed everything about this farce

Just quoting the first statement they put on website after reaching the final m8

I got an email from the club saying there was a 48 hour period beginning Wed. Don't know if they published that anywhere. Hope you get sorted mate.

That's the one that was on the website I'm on about

So did u read it like me as of you don't register in that period you can't.
Probs changed like it has for most stuff

I read it as an ST holder to be ready for today you had to register wed/thu. For example, the Walsall bit you have until Monday to buy it, so I reckon you can still register after, but only for next phase. The data seems to get copied overnight according to posts a few days ago. Or was it yesterday? It's been a long day!

Aye it's here, sorry as I was talking about phase 2/3 people

On sale dates

There will be a 48-hour period - Wednesday 6 and Thursday 7 March - in which current season card holders including 18, 12 and 8 game season card holders and supporters on the SAFC database with a recent ticket purchase history (the previous two seasons, from 2017-18 onwards) can activate their new Ticketmaster account, before the sales process begins.

This is what the email looked like that I got and it ask me to activate. There's no mention of a cut off so maybe they changed it given the clart on people had initially trying to activate. Thankfully I don't need to sort owt out ;)

I emailed the SLO as I'm like your brother, just have away tickets on my purchase history. These don't count towards phase two at all, so buying a Walsall ticket (unless he's planning on attending of course) is redundant

Mine has this in:

But if you buy a Walsall ticket your into phase 2 regardless of previous history because you then fall onto the recent home purchase category

Thanks for the update mate. It's a complete shambles and not what it says on the website. The communication has been shocking, you'd think someone would proof read it before sending out important info like this. Everything about it seems rushed.

But if you buy a Walsall ticket your into phase 2 regardless of previous history because you then fall onto the recent home purchase category

I also enquired about this, asking if my dad was to purchase a Walsall ticket would he not be straight into phase 2 as this would be a recent home game purchase (the last time he went was around 2015) and Chris said that he would fall into the third phase

So if that's the case the club has worded it all wrong again because my son has away history and a Walsall ticket and according to the chairman he would go into phase 2 as his away purchase doesn't count but the Walsall one will be a purchase in the recent 2 year period . Absolute shambles

Correct.

Home purchase history 17/18, 18/19 = phase 2
Home purchase history 16/17 and beyond+Walsall = phase2
Walsall and anything not above is phase 3

Also ticket master still has u need a Walsall ticket regardless for phase 2 so I bet a lot of ppl won't even be allowed to apply on Tuesday even though it's changed and u don't need one

Have similar issues but purchase history has been this seasons check a trade games. They don't count either so the account is null and void basically, as we don't have any league purchase history.
