Mind the Royal Family have mishandled the media spectacularly over the years. Opening up to scrutiny, the madness of the Prince Andrew interview, the treatment by their attack dogs in the press on various Royals, not to mention the parading of a grieving child behind a gun-carriage carrying the body of his mother.
When I see Meghan and Harry together and I muse on what would have been the attraction for him I always think of that kid behind the gun carriage looking for his lost mother in later life. My projection is she dominates him to an extent. She may not be aware of the imblance but it is interesting to see the huge vitriol she arouses in so many of her own sex. Does she represent aspects of a darker feminity, control, dominance, that certain types of women prefer not to own about themselves?
And it's a circus, the press and the Royals. Ring masters and clowns, both dependent on each other.
Fills in a bit of time now and then though, seeing how the greatest all of soap operas is unfolding.

I will point out for the benefit of those who don’t know that said young boys were dragged down from Balmoral, where the Queen wanted them to grieve in peace, on the demand of Tony Blair after the media went into a witch-hunt about the Queen staying with her grieving son and grandsons. She was the victim of a media frantically trying to shift attention from the part they played in the death of Diana.

Secondly, it is traditionally for the males in the family to walk behind the coffin, not only with the Royals, but also among the upper classes. The boys were given the option to either travel to the funeral in a car or to walk with their father, grandfather and uncle. They made that choice to walk.

Personally, if I had been Charles then I would have said they were too young and sent them in a car, but then you have the problem of who should escort them to their mothers funeral? The Queen? Or Queen Mother?

I think most women have come across women like Meghan. They tend to be better friends with men who are impressed by their beauty whereas women see the underlying unpleasantness.

Interesting how you automatically believe that to be true.

The only thing i believe she was truthful about was her mental health problems.

They both want no attention and away from eoyal life but are on oprah & netflix. Makes sense.

You can’t say someone worried if their baby would be too black then not say who it is. The media will be falling over themselves to declare who the likely suspect was.

Also she didn’t know to curtsy to the queen, that royals have to meet members of the public, that her kids wouldn’t be Princes or Princesses, and that those lovely earrings were from a murdering woman hater.

She probably should’ve stuck with Ashley Cole
