Premier Concourse

There are a lot of steps, it’s one of the reasons we have decided to stay in the West Stand. In years gone by a couple of older lads near us used to use the lift, going in through the main reception. You would need to ask if that’s still a possibility. The view is canny and despite what some say on here the atmosphere was fine. We had some canny people around us and it was only the season before closure when lots hadn’t renewed that there were lots of empty seats around us and then it was quiet.
76 years young stairs no problem, great view. Thought about moving keeps me fit

If you want to see how many stairs there are videos on YouTube of away fans doing the hike.

The few times I’ve been up there over the years I’ve always thought the view was fantastic.
A lot to be said for seeing the whole panorama there in front of you.

Think I've been up there twice. First time was against man city, the first league game at the new ground, they had double booked my season ticket seat so we were moved up there for that game. Can't remember much as it was nearly 30 years ago. The other time was when it was fairly empty and soulless. Sat in the north stand upper a few times and that was just as bad, then again we were pretty shite at the time as well

Same thing happened to us. Think it was first few for us though.
