Potential of -10 in the north east

Tonight according to itv weather forecast.

Now that is a bit chilly and I'm worried about the wild parakeet that visits our garden every day.

Hope it survives?

By the way, this week in 2016 saw temperatures between 16 to 20 degrees, according to my weather app on my phone.

There's about thirty wild parakeets nesting close to my house. Hope they're okay.

Was -8 when I got to work this morning in Houghton.

Don't think I've ever seen it that cold before in this country

As I said it was plus 20 this time last year. A 30 point swing seems to be a hell of a lot, in the same country.

Was -12 in parts on the NE last night so -10 is no big deal

r, I'm planning on moving to London, Ontario in future.

My son is there already. However you can get cheap holidays to Cuba from Canada and was planning to go there, during the really cold periods

Back in the winter of 2010, I drove by Seaburn beach around 6am one morning as I was picking up a work colleague who only had a motorbike and couldn't use it due to the snow and road conditions. The dash said -18deg C (okay, could be wrong) but there was steam coming off the sea. Surreal scene.
