Just wondering how i have had nearly 800 posts go missing from my total message count, When i looked the other day was just under 100 posts from 10000 but when ive looked today i am back on just over 9100.

Is ther any reason for this?

They will have been deleted. There have been over 21 million posts on the boards since we move to this format which means over 10 million have been deleted over time.

It is part of the routine housekeeping which is necessary to prevent the servers getting totally clogged up and grinding to a standstill.
