Parkinson pointed to an early penalty rhat wasn’t given for a foul on Luke O’Nien, and a growing injury list, as mitigation for the woeful result.

They have no fight in them whatsoever - he is deluded
Down to the bare bones. Fucking hell. We were missing McLaughlin who’s number 2 now, 2 shite full backs and then Charlie Wyke & Will Grigg who absolutely shite. Hardly an game changers in there. The excuses are embarrassing.

Both decisions, which i assume he is referring to, were fucking awful. However, we were outplayed and outfought by a team who have 15 points from 17 games in League 2. Take a long hard look at yourself, your supposed game plan and the players you are employed to manage, before pointing your finger elsewhere, you absolute fucking dick. Typical of our club mentality, hiding behind someone else’s fault and using it as an excuse. He’s almost gloating that we matched them in the first half. It’s fucking pathetic so do something about it or fuck off.

We will come out fighting at Gillingham and finish up with just 8 duds at full time after a 4 nowt pasting. We will blood 3 youngsters who joined the club 2 years ago and will be looking for their first win against a Coventry side who will declare at 5 just like last season. On the other hand let's just play 11 supporters who actually give a toss.

Tough luck that Griggy went down this morning, per the gaffer.

I also think hes been unfortunate that 4 of his 8 games have been in the cups. These are games that, lets be honest, no one is arsed about at this juncture. Its best if we are not in them while in this division. However, to not be in them you have to lose the games. Its bad timing they have all come in this sequence of matches.
I think this is the luckiest thing he has going for him. Ultimately, no one gives a shit if we lose these cup games now or later. Rather we take our lumps in those 4 games than in league matches, that could cost us the season. Hopefully they turn it around...

As opposed to Leadbitter, who seems deranged, on the evidence of his interview.

Christ almighty, i had no idea they were in league 2.
Our midfield trio of power, leadbitter and Dobson were out muscled and out classed for most of that tonight. Leadbitter was particularly pedestrian.
Who'd have thought that the days of Cunnington and Derek Ferguson would be surpassed

Aye, his interview was bizarre like...
It really was, wasn’t it.

I’m not suggesting for one second he was (as I do know he’s a top professional, despite his decline as a player)but .... it looked like someone pissed, trying to give the impression that he was sober.

ive not seen grant in front of the camera before so not sure if thats his manner normally, but does anyone else think somethings gone on in the squad? he looks extremely agitated rather than dissapointed

all this sticking together stuff doesnt bode well
