Action was just too low I think bud, it still hasn’t sunk in how good of a guitar it is like

Had to adjust the action slightly. Tweaked with the bridge a bit and had to change the nut slot heights on the A and D.How did we take the buzz off then @conrad @gabbiadini1 ??

I've got a 2012 Squire custom vibe butterscotch blonde telecaster. Wondering if anyone would be interested in a straight swap for a half decent acoustic? I can only play a few chords and I'm never gonna have the tele plugged in so thought I'd try for a swap on here before going down the Gumtree fleabay route.
Class that.Canny little find ,ya dad's had a Gibson burst worth 150k in the wardrobe for years and you think its worth only 5k .
Fairplay to a.t.b guitars they could have said o.k 5k then done it up and sold it for £150k,Joe Bonammassa is the new owner purchased it as is ,wonder how much atb guitars got out of the deal ? .
There is a register for serial numbers of 50s bursts and this one wasn't logged .
I wonder if there is another lying cased in a wardrobe in the U.K ? ,can just picture it when they pass away and the family clear out the things ,oh little Johnnys learning guitar next door give him grandads old bashed up one ,2 months later little Johnnys playing a 250k guitar with the school band .
Joe has masses of gear. He is a serious collector now.Hmmmm......read the last few lines " he declined to say how much he paid the woman but said he sold it to Bonamassa for between 150/170k.
Bet she got 50k tops ,probs fed her the" lots of major work needs doing by specialists that cost thousands ",Then doesn't touch a screw and flogs it for 120k more ,nice work if you can get it ! the fact he won't disclose how much he paid her screams he got it for a song ! .
Rare guitar worth £175,000 left in a cupboard for years

He is rumoured to have over 400 guitars and 400 amps.
Thanks for that, but I want to get shot of the tele .If you are just pottering around and want something that sounds good my daughter has a Yamaha F310 hardly used. It comes with the various accessories that were included with it when she bought it new in 2013. As it has a little bit of age on it the wood has had time to develop and it has a lovely tone. It’s unmarked as far as I can see and would pass for new. She only used it for a few lessons preferring a smaller guitar to carry with her to work and then to her lessons. It is in its box and has a soft case. Here’s the advert for it when she got it.
She still has two other guitars so she wouldn’t be interested in a swap but after checking EBay we think £60 would be a fair price.

Fancied a Strat so bought one on Saturday off Marketplace for a massive £40. To be honest I thought I was getting a bargain as the guitar is in Miami Blue, which I'm reasonably certain was a Fender only colour. The guitar was plainly a POS when I got there though, but even for an alder body and a rosewood/maple neck if its parts only I can't fall off.
Going to be doing a full rebuild on it.
So far I've
Neck
Polished the frets
Unseized and dug out the truss rod from under around 20 years of crap
Oiled the fingerboard
Body
Full strip down
Wet sanded the body in 1200 grit and 2000 grit
Machine polished the body
On order
fully loaded Fender pickguard
new jack socket
trem system, but I've ballsed up and ordered the wrong one - ordered a 2 point one without reading the ad properly. ffs. Hoping I can use the block with my existing plate.
Both the neck and the body are a mystery though. I think the neck is an old Squier neck with a Fender transfer on it. Haven't got a clue about the body and wiring. Its looks cheap as hell, proper catalog job.

I have always got far too excessive with lemon oil. When I first discovered it I was obsessed and did all my guitars including a Tele copy I owned.Aye it was a work in progress shot with the oil. The excess was wiped off after 20 minutes or so.
Debating about changing the tuners too. They feel solid but I’d hate to put it back together for them to slip.
