Saw Portsmouth play the other night, got turned over by Brighton reserves, if Pompey one of the favourites to get promotion we should walk this league, they were woeful.

Christ man why do people come out with stuff like this. Judging or predicting a team or a player on 1 game. We were woeful in the first half on Saturday we will be woeful many more times this season as will all clubs in this shit league

I think it just revealed the huge gulf between the Prem and League One. Pompey held on for a while and Curtis looked good throughout, but Brighton were miles better. The game didn't demonstrate anything about Pompey's chances in our god awful division.

They keep doing us. My mate is a Pompey fan and been to all the recent away games and Wembley. They are f***ing scumbag fans, odious shower of shit not even nice when socialising after the game down gun wharf the maggies of the South Coast.

I want to say Pompey are worse than us but under Parkinson I have no faith as he is absolutely f***ing pathetic. have a certain disliking for their fans because as the poster above me stated they are arseholes. After the final against them I ran into a lot of them lot who were acting complete bellends. Apart from that they are sound

I think Jacobs is an excellent signing for them. If they keep Curtis then they’ll be right up there in the mix for top two.
Even more so if they sign a better centre back or Watmough stays fit.

Have to sign a CB because Whatmough is made of crisps and the alternative is Paul Downing.

I think we still need 3 players and we have space for one (though I think one or two fringers may be going out). A CB, a CM and a striker. Marquis and Harrison for all the fact they seem to be generally viewed as ‘top strikers for the level’ both look well short of form at the moment, and that’s starting to look like a worrying norm.

I think we’ve got the CB and striker lined up but the thing that’s concerning me most is Jackett seems okay with our CM options. We are so average in there you can’t believe it. Naylor is great in a tackle but can’t pass, Morris has been our best midfielder so far and he’s bang average and injury prone, Close has fallen off a cliff form wise and now selection wise, and Cannon just doesn’t do it for me...headless chicken.

Do you know who the striker and centre back are?

Walk it? Nobody walks League One. Look how tough it is. I have found it harder than I thought in the beginning. Everyone has the potential to go up apart from us. Portsmouth are the least of our worries.
