Raker

Winger
I know we’ve already had a few threads on this but looking at the Forcast is there a chance this gets abandoned on the day? Would be a massive kick in the goolies for out lot travelling like

Was hammering it down this morning down here but calm now and the sun is out. Tomorrow looks dreadful. 98% chance of rain all day pretty much.

Forecast for tomorrow is heavy rain and high southerly winds early on but easing a bit from half time. Best bring a brolly.

Forecast is for constant heavy rain & wind from 8am to 5pm but it will get out between 6 & 7pm. At least it should by dry walking back to your transport home. The wind will be high though.

I doubt that the game will be a classic but I think that they have had rain at Fratton Park before and can cope with it.

The biggest concern is for those who have the petrol and intend to drive there and back. The driving conditions are going to be bad so those who do drive will need to take extra care & watch their speed.

Safe journey.

Non stop heavy rain and 50+ mph gusts forecast. Thats a bit wild and whilst the game will hopefully go ahead its surely got to be at risk of being called off.

Keepers will be having shots from goal kicks with that wind behind them if it goes ahead!

Safe journey. Staying down myself for 4 nights on the Isle of Wight. Equally hoping the game goes ahead!
I'm travelling over from the IOW on the Ryde-Portsmouth catamaran Saturday lunchtime. My advice is keep an eye on ferry disruption/cancellation if the the wind strength is high. The hovercraft service was cancelled this morning. Keep the car ferry times from Fishbourne in mind as well as they are less prone to disruption.
