Portsmouth wanting more tickets

I mean, the two different subjects were violence against Pompey fans and violence against Sunderland fans. Hardly chalk and cheese.

For advocating Pompey fans taking a beating, you're right, I probably missed the subtleties of this post:

You did. The point is that if the fans who behaved badly at Wembley do the same at our ground, they won't get away without a response this time. Maybe not from the youngsters and OAPs they were singling out last week, but certainly from anyone around who sees it. If the fans who behaved well last week, who were in the majority, behave as they did last week, they'll have a good time, though hopefully with the result going against them. The point is that anyone coming looking for trouble will get it; the well-behaved majority have nothing to worry about. We have a history of not starting trouble, and an equally long history of finishing it if it happens.

There you go, well put ...
... I doubt anyone, Sunderland or Portsmouth, could argue with that.

I believe we should always reciprocate.

However you can't say we should give every club 8,000 tickets because of Blackpool.
If a club asked for 8,000 I would give them 8,000, assuming we wouldn't have been able to sell those tickets ourselves. Obviously it would be unusual for a club to ask for that many.

See what demand is like from Sunderland fans first, if it's not heading for a sell out then give Pompey more. It's their last away game of the season and they always take a lot of fans away for that one no matter where it is. Then stuff the skates on the pitch . I will be drinking in the same pub as Westwood (the bell ringer) and meeting up with some canny Pompey fans I've known for years, it'll be interesting what their take is on the Wembley final atmosphere.

Tbf the increased allocation this season have been at grounds that are only usually half full. There is potential for this game to be massive. Those seats should be held in case there is demand from Sunderland fans.
Fair point. But once it becomes clear that there will be thousands of empty seats then I think we should give them to Pompey fans if they want them.

Stop your shit stirring. Almost like you want it to happen ffs. We’ll be up with what you give us, backing us to go away from home and get 3 points. End of it. If you interpret that as ‘looking for it’, then up to you.

And Sunderland being the perfect place where the elderly and kids are permanently safe? Do me a favour. Hendon and Peterlee the shining examples to all. Can’t tell me that they are any different to Leigh Park and Paulsgrove ffs.
Pennywell always used to be a craphole too, may well still be. I've been up to Sunderland many times for work, and found people to be generally spot on, but picking up the Echo any night of the week showed Sunderland has at least it's fair share of violent tossers and druggies.

I'd sell them as many as they want until ours go on sale.
If they're out of the promotion race, by then, they'll have given us £1000's for nothing and will swerve the game. Spending £150, on top of the ticket, will stop a lot ... especially with the price of coke to take into account for another Wembley trip ;)

A large city with unemployment, a history of heavy industry and a lack of investment ...
... who'd have thought it eh

I’ve lived in Paulsgrove (Famous for locals attacking a paediatricians house when they thought a paedophile live there)as well as Wymering and my brother lives in Leigh Park and these areas are unique in their shiteness. The locals certain fit the remit for the bellends acting themselves on Sunday. I do also know a lot a decent people from Portsmouth some who are ST holders at Fratton Park, but the city on the whole does have a higher % of absolute whoppers compared to anywhere else I’ve lived.

Glad to see everyone is looking forward to this one then!!!. All good friends. As I said on the other thread, I am coming up with 6 including my brother and a 14 year old. Apart from the 14 year old, we have all been to over 60 grounds, some of my mates over 80 grounds. We're just normal football fans and apart from a few inidents over the years, don't recognise the way we are being portrayed on here as a fan base. I'm not worried about the day at all. Good luck to you and I hope you can join us in the championship next year.

I do not expect a single ticket more than the 266 extra. That’s consistency as far as I can tell bar the Luton game where you kept the PC shut.

Bradford would have also taken more on Boxing Day, were it not for the selling of PC tickets for a huge crowd.

If you sell PC tickets for this game, then that’s our lot. If you don’t then I expect you’ll handover more.
You've got a few weeks to come up with a second song
