Young uns use other online methods and the general age is increasing due to that, I see that on other forums as well which are quieter now.

Transferred onto here in 2002 from whatever iteration that was running before that. Can't remember what it was, FTM, RTG... 🤷‍♂️

I remember being on Mudhole and then Topica in the late 80's

I just like the atmosphere on here most of the time.
There is healthy piss taking, loads of laughs, a few tears and heartwarming threads, loads of good will, and a chance to catch up with a few " mates".
Later in the day, with a sherbert or two, it is, as someone else said, a bit like a virtual bar, with a few regulars looking for a bit of company and a few laughs.
Great.
At the minute, I am interested in someones olanning issues, loving seeing other peoples dogs, and had a laugh with LOP when she got "spangled"🤣🤣🤣
All with people hundreds of miles away.
Brilliant.

I started lurking 10 years ago before the games against my club. Joined 2 years later to comment on something where everybody else was obviously wrong. Have stayed ever since and now spend more time on here than on any other site. I even started following the lads quite closely and watch about every other game.

I like the wide array of topics and that there's always someone on to argue with

You are a great bunch of lads (and lasses).

Who is "your club" marra?

Still very popular. I know a few younguns who are regular match goers, away as well, and they don't come on here - ever. It's more about Facebook and Twitter for them.

I'm unfortunately born an Evertonian.

Mum met dad. I became a Blue. I was born. Can't be undone.
Not the best day for me to ask then marra. Sorry🤣🤣🤣
Met Andy Gray in a bar in Alicante a few years ago. Told him I was Mackem, and loved Reidy, so he pulled his phone out, called him, and gave me the phone. Funny as fuck. PR was like"who the fuck is this drunken Mackem kernt burbling at me?"
He took it well though. AG joined us for the rest of the night. Good guy.👍
 Please don’t ever apply for a CID job.
Well I did think Everton, but his profile says he's in Copenhagen. Just thought it polite to ask.🤣

Great story.

I picked the name because you also had an Andy Gray (of a slightly less calibre).

Long before the likes of Trust Pilot and Checkatrade this was.... and still is...the place to go to for a plumber, electrician, garage door bloke, man with van, etc.
Never failed for me (except for the crap plasterer who didn't tell me he had just completed a course in "how to plaster" and was "not that good with ceilings"   )

Oi. Fuck all wrong with our AG marra.
He scored against Peterborough at London Road, and ran to us behind the goal. I was up on the barrier at the fence, and he hugged me celebrating. I was on Sky that night🤣🤣🤣
What are the chances - He only scored one league goal, I'm not sure about his cup record :)

Edit: Can't find that goal...

Whenever I was in digs down south there would always be a meet up somewhere in London to watch the match. Met some great people at places like the Famous 3 Kings (West Kensington), The Old Red Lion Theatre Nr Angel) and probably the most bizarre was a pub around Hackney Downs/London Fields that was owned by a West Brom supporter (I'm sure someone will remember it) There would 3 games going on at the same time each in different parts of the pub.
