Very first time I played I potted the 9 off the break. Shrugged shoulders and started again. Wasn't even sure if I'd won or not

Never came close since. Think they might have been set up 'loosely' or summit

American pockets are huge but so are the balls which means they're much harder to control and get spin on so way less fun than English pool especially if you're a decent snooker player and know how to work the white.

Just get an extension and a full sized snooker table, proper game!!

If you are paying in a pool hall where you pay for a table by the hour, I much prefer 9-ball as you get a load more games.

If you are playing on a table with a coin slot where you pay per game, then English is better as the games last loads longer[/QUOTE]
