Pompey travel for the players

They've definitely flew down, there are pictures on twitter. What I'm confused about was after all the COVID cases at various clubs around Christmas time the EFL brought in new protocols. One of these was around travel to away games. They said to accommodate social distancing clubs would need to travel on multiple coaches. If clubs fail to follow the protocols and there are outbreaks they could be fined or even face point deductions. Has this been scrapped already, have we used multiple planes or have we just thought fuck it?
Thought the players are checked regularly for covid.

No idea at all, but are planes more Covid safe than buses in some way (wouldn't have thought so with the air circulation but you never know)? Maybe we just got a f***ing massive plane with plenty space. Or aye, maybe we thought it would likely only be a fine for a first offence and KLD thought fuck it
It's not about the space it's about air circulation on an aeroplane. Planes need to be a pressurised cabin so on a flight your basically breathing air thats been in someone else's lungs. Busses can get their air-conditioning from outside sources so there's less risk of viral circulation. The only thing I can think of is everyone has submitted a covid test and been cleared before getting on the flight

Although many people might think that sitting in a confined space for long periods would inevitably spread infections, the chief engineer at aerospace giant Airbus insists that is not the case.
Jean-Brice Dumont argues that the way modern aircraft are designed means that the air is intrinsically very clean. "Every two to three minutes, mathematically, all the air is renewed," he says. "That means 20 to 30 times per hour, the air around you is completely renewed."
Put simply, air is collected from outside the aircraft, normally through the engine, and mixed with recycled air from the cabin.
The recycled air, which is reused in part to keep temperature and humidity at the correct levels, is passed through HEPA (high-efficiency particulate air) filters that are similar to those used in hospitals. The Covid-19 virus is about 125 nanometres in diameter (a nanometre is a billionth of a metre) and is within the particle-size range that HEPA filters capture - 10 nanometres and above.

Kind of my game this, aircon, air change rates n all that boring shit.

It just feels more professional and 'big time'. Hopefully it translates to a confident performance on the pitch.

Although it could cause the other team to be up for the match against the "big club".

Not too worried about Pompey as it appears they have downed tools about a month ago (according to their forums).
