Police ready to take hard line

I didn't that much but it was more down to our numbers than the police presence, which as the contingent I was with turned left on to Bath Lane was non-existent until it actually kicked off then they came scrambling up with batons out.

I felt on edge though, especially as the walk continued down through Pink Lane which is about 3-foot wide and has numerous bars down it which were all rammed - they were all stood at the windows watching us walk past and again there was no police about as they'd all ran up Bath Lane to break up the brawl up there.

Pink Lane COULD have been carnage

Again mate think about it............how many ordinary folk and SAFC fans are going to get off at St Peters at that time on Sunday...........youre going to the far end of a fart with this and in the unlikely event of there being a SAFC fan they will have something called a ticket in their coat...........

Nah I dont think anything will happen. Im just pointing out it doesnt say they cant get off there and wander thats all.

Edit: Some people meet their mates, who have their ticket ;)

Anyway we will all be too busy defending Seaburn and Roker

No because as I said you don't go to the far end of a fart and produce a pre match thesis on the policing............

Common sense tells you what the score is and you wont see anyone coming through those arches out of St Peters away from the Sheepfolds.........

So basically, we can go through Newcastle how and when we want and go where ever we want, but Newcastle fans cant through here. Suits me

Again you know fine well in the real world it means they don't now give an official escort from the point we all eminate from Central Station........and as they all come here from a point much closer they aren't going to issue a thesis on it...........Its bloody obvious what takes place............

Why some people are wasting their lives twisting about this is beyond me.................

The police are definitely wanting something to happen so they can implement bubbles and 1130hrs kick offs in future. I am not bothered in the least if those too stupid not to get in bother get lifted and banned, though. Just act like a grown up and enjoy yourself.

Soz like but they would far prefer there to be no bother, be able to scale back the operation and use fewer resources in future. It's a massive fanny in for NP to police a bubble etc and quite why people think they're desperate to have to scale up rather than down the operation is bizarre. And the club doesn't pay for any cops who don't work in the ground.

I would love to get paid to hit Mags with sticks and order them around

EDIT: I'm too stupid to use English, clearly.

If people fight at the match then they deserve to be banned for being idiots and spoiling it for the majority.

:)

Agreed

However I also believe that people with no premeditated intentions easily get caught up in bother. Either by flipping or defending themselves.

An arrest or caution may be a pain in the arse and embarrassing for many but for others it would costs them their jobs.

I think that's a bit naive.
