Thats a bit “dark” for me.Stabbing the baby would be worse surely?
this...Trying to hit the bin at work with endless scrunched up paper is my little bit of sanity in the bedlam
I see the time estimate on the satnav as a challenge. On our other car that doesn’t have sat nav, I try to get a personal best of mpg. Best so far has been 88mpg over a four mile run. Mostly downhill so a fair bit of free wheeling going on.Throwing things in bins from as far away as possible.
And every day I race the satnav to work. Can usually take about 5 minutes off it.
You know coasting in gear is more economical than free wheeling out of gear right?I see the time estimate on the satnav as a challenge. Just used the wrong terminology. You know coasting in gear is more economical than free wheeling out of gear right?
I use wet cotton wool and I’m up to about 95% success.Trying to hit the bin at work with endless scrunched up paper is my little bit of sanity in the bedlam
Interesting. How so ?You know coasting in gear is more economical than free wheeling out of gear right?
When you’re freewheeling, the engine is still injecting fuel to keep it ticking over, When you’re coasting, the engine sees the revs from the wheels driving the engine, realises this and the ECU stops injecting fuel. That’s what I was told anyway.Interesting. How so ?
much much easier to try shit like that during rush hour, reverse it for a bit of a challenge. If I'm travelling from Newcastle to Durham late at night I always attempt not to go over 40mph
If you roll down a hill in neutral then the engine will idle at about 750 revs and not use much fuel at all? When you’re freewheeling, the engine is still injecting fuel to keep it ticking over, When you’re coasting, the engine sees the revs from the wheels driving the engine, realises this and the ECU stops injecting fuel. Still more than none.If you roll down a hill in neutral then the engine will idle at about 750 revs and not use much fuel at all?
Who won?I've got a challenge with a mate - who can use chop sticks the best by November 2018. I must say I'm coming along quite nicely, used them with my Chinese takeaway on Saturday.
