I always boil a frying pan of water, then drop it to simmer before putting in the eggs, then up the heat once the egg starts to form. Though I do always lose some of the egg as it spreads out.
Anyone use egg rings to keep them together? I was looking at https://www.amazon.co.uk/Cozii-Stainless-Anti-scald-Sandwiches-Breakfast/dp/B08MZY7JV5/ref=sr_1_3_sspa?crid=X8UJGHZU0P6E&keywords=egg+rings&qid=1676547311&sprefix=egg+rings,aps,90&sr=8-3-spons&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9hdGY&psc=1
Swirling the water is something new to me. I take it is just a gentle swirl rather than create a whirlpool?
