Playoff Chances - 35%

same for us 3 years ago we were a league 1 fixture
with luton 5 years ago we were a league 2 fixture
and you have norwich / watford etc totally pissing their Parachute payment up the wall

see you at wembley :)
i know nothing about coventry except the guy gyorkes ?is pretty useful.i fully expect us to beat you and i dont mean that as a mark of disrespect. good luck to all teams in the play offs

Such as an elephant nodding in the winner for Coventry in the 138th minute?

35% sounds about right to me. There are three results out of six that would benefit us, so 50/50, and then we have to win our own match.

The whole point of the OP is what are our chances, and a 1 in 3 chance isn't far off. it does mean something, that's why we have bookies and the like.
So are you suggesting the bookies odds are always right then based on your way of thinking. If so then I will back the odds on each race and make a fortune.

You have to credit Mark Robins and his loyalty to Coventry when they had to play games at Birmingham . He took them from League two to the current and into another decent season this year despite all the issues . Boro will win the last match and ive this strange feeling in my bones that it will be us v Boro at Wembley. ...... I had a dream .....
North East Teams, North East born Managers, North East fans. Dan Neil scored the winner.

Even if they lose we'd have to win and Millwall would have to win. Wouldn't be surprised if it happens, but the permutations are very much in their favour.

Or West Brom score a few and Coventry lose by a few too. But you’re right it’s well in their favour, 89% is right imo

Just because there is 3 results out of 6 that favour us, that doesn’t mean they’re equally as likely (i.e not necessarily 50/50)

As it happens, even if Coventry had lost yesterday, then they still would have made the play offs following Blackburn’s win.

Yep and if Boro had scored a late winner we would be welcoming the Smoggies to Wearside on Sunday at noon.
Dont think we would mate, Luton finished 5 points ahead of Boro on 80, so a win would've only given Boro 2 extra points, making 77
