Playoff Chances - 35%

Problem is Boro can't move anywhere so Carrick could quite possibly rest half his team ready for their playoff game which will probably be against cov anyway
No chance. There fams weren't happy after Rotherham performance, they will want to end on a high...potentially against their play off opponents.

For Coventry not to make it, a load of results need to go against them, in addition to their losing: we would need a win; and / or WBA would need to win by four or five goals; and / or Millwall need to win, or Blackburn need to win 15 - 0, or Millwall draw, but Coventry lose 5 - 0. When you look at how much stuff has to go wrong for Cov to founder, 90% looks pretty realistic. That said, they lose, us and Millwall win looks much less secure than 90%. I don't know, it's one or the other, or both, or neither.

3 results not loads. Both us and Millwall are odds on. Boro are favourites to win their game too.

but you need to win - we will probably be able to lose and still be ok

somebody just put up on the cov site

Blackburn have lost 1 of their last 14 v millwall
Sunderland have not won in their last 7 v preston

My memories of Deepdale aren't good.
Never seen us win there. Couldn't even get a draw in the 79/80 promotion winning season, tho defeat there sent us on a 13 match unbeaten run enabling us to clinch second.

This is undoubtedly a tough game, and the atmosphere generated by 6000 Safc will ensure they'll be up for it.

It's a tough one to call.

so we have lost around 1 in 16
Millwall have won 2 in 8
you have won 3 in 9

love your optimism though

Why did you include how many you have lost but we and Millwall have won?

If we are going back 9 games (for whatever reason you picked that), you have won 4, us 3 and Millwall 3.

You're not exactly Man City in that respect, are you?

I'd imagine it's because Coventry would need to lose, whilst ourselves and Millwall would need to win in order for Coventry to drop out of the Play-Offs?

Surely your question answers itself?

Sure we took about 6,000 in the Keano season and they battered us.

It still means nothing. Why pick 16, 9 and 8 games respectively?
Coventry have recently beaten QPR 3-0 away, drawn 2-2 with Watford at home and been battered at home by Stoke. Very similar to ourselves.
