f***ing haway man, I wish we had someone as shit over the last 11 years or so he's been playing.
Was tongue in cheek mate, although think we've seen his best years.
How about Franny Jeffers?

He's not exactly shit now though is he!![]()
Unfortunately - because I really liked him - Kevin Arnott who has been discussed on here quite a bit recently.
Really promising for us in the mid/late 70s. Had a bit about him. Great right foot. Vision. Passing range. Took a good free-kick. He seemed to have the lot but when he needed to kick on when we went up in 1979-80, he really did not stand out in the top-flight.
Management changes and the challenge of the big league may not have helped but there are those who believe he shrunk in the spotlight of the big league and liked a drink a little too much.
I really would have liked to see him persevered with a little longer. He had talent. It did not fully blossom.
He was an absolute shadow for a long time after his first two seasons at Liverpool and still is nowhere near what he was.
Scored 20+ goals last year, won the champions league 2 seasons ago, Europa league last year scoring important goals along the way.
Is he the phenom he was at Liverpool? No, the injury he had has forced him to change his game. Is he 'shit' as the thread suggests? Absolutely f***ing nowhere near and to suggest so is downright embarrassing.

Lee Bowyer? We could name majority of the Leeds champions league team here mind. They all seemed to hit their peak ridiculously early in their careers and then spent the next 10 years bouncing from club to club without making an impact anywhere.

Of those 20 odd goals just 8 were in the premier league, his Premier League record for Chelsea is 82 games 15 goals for a comparison Danny Grahams is 65 games 15 goals.Scored 20+ goals last year, won the champions league 2 seasons ago, Europa league last year scoring important goals along the way.
