I took 100% to mean he couldn't have played better. He knew he couldn't sprint about the pitch like a kid & did exactly what we needed game after game, i'd say he gave his all.

You could, and you'd be right.
If a shit player plays shit, he can still give his all.
I'm simply saying SNQ knew how to get the best out of himself and he usually did. Some players catch the eye with 'effort' but ultimately lack quality when it's needed as they're knackered; Quinn knew to hold back so that his quality shone when the opportunity presented itself.
