Play off games v Average attendances

Don't think anyone is saying people don't have a choice and it's their right to do as they please. Doesn't make it disappointing and crap though

Just think attendance stuff is over the top like, we get could crowds, no point analysing one game, long season like

We must have the only set of fans who in significant numbers, aren't going into play offs backing their side. Don't understand it and it's bizarre, but fuck them if they don't want to go basically. Nowt any of us can do except if you are get behind your club.

Great thread.

Let's have more criticism of the people who've travelled the country supporting their team.

What a f***ing joke this board is ...

Who is doing that? Of the 15k missing fans tomorrow, some will undoubtedly have plans they cant get out of (relatively small number) but lets not try and suggest that 15,000 fans are all at weddings, Christenings or work on a Saturday night, they just cant be arsed as a good few on here have admitted.

Nobody is having a pop at anybody who has genuine reasons but who the hell loses 15,000 fans in a fortnight when the stakes are so high? There is somet not normal with that stat and analysing other play offs shows it.

Even though I'm disappointed about tomorrows possible attendance. It's better that our fans have stayed loyal throughout the regular season (32k average) than just turn up in bigger numbers for one match in the play-offs. Like the Leeds example.
This 100%

People basically saying they’d rather ya be like Leeds and had thousands less across the season so we could seem to have a higher attendance for a play off game.

Frig me, you think not supporting our team in the biggest game of the season is a good thing?

I think averaging 32,000 fans over every game in a 23 game season is a better thing.
In fact, for this league it is the most amazing thing that has ever happened.
Leeds, Man City, Villa couldn't do it.
In fact, there is only 3 other clubs who I believe could match us.
And even then, if they had only won 1 trophy in 82 years then they might struggle.
No, on reflection, our crowds this season have shown we are the loyalist in the country.

You are.

That's your choice but, ffs, have the balls to stand by what you're obviously saying.

If you're not saying that then what's the f***ing point of your thread

League attendance has been excellent so what has happened? Why jump ship now we are at the business end and the team needs our support more than ever to get us over the line and get us out of this league?

To point out we have got the best part of 15,000 fans who just cant be arsed to turn up to a play off semi final game. I suspect that any fan who travels all over the country will not be one of those sacking off a play off semi final to sit in the pub cause they cant be arsed.

Let me get this right, that's definitely not a criticism.
