The tennis ball method doesn't work on laminate floors.Roll a tennis ball under your feet and get some new trainers.
Accentuated heel drops was the key for me after trying, orthotics, direct massage, golf ball, compression sockets etc.Stretch your calf muscles regularly. Also the base of your foot by pulling your toes upwards whilst your foot rests in your lap.
Could be both, I had one doctor tell me it was gout and another saying it was plantar fasciitis.Sure it isn’t gout. I mistook gout for that for a few years absolute basterd stuff! Gout is commonly in the big toes but for me it was heel also
I e got it now mate , it’s awfulHad it really bad about 4 years ago when I was running lots.
Tips
Buy a spike massage ball (looks like a dog toy) and roll your bare feet all over it.f***ing nacks but helps.
Stretch each individual toe back and hold for a few seconds,do that a few times a day.
Yeah I've started with the calf massages at the sports Clinic at work and I can feel a difference. Some good suggestions by folk on here, so they are all appreciated. It very much seems to be a case of trial and error. Thanks a lotTakes time but what helped for me has been mentioned above:
1) Get your calves loosened up - foam rolling works well.
2) Freeze a 500ml bottle of water and roll it under your foot a few times throughout the day.
3) Take ibuprofen - not just for the pain - helps reduce any inflammation.
Good luck - it’s a bastard!
Rest and physio followed by a good sports massage, a bit of yoga and gently introduce barefoot/minimalist shoes....you’ll never get it again. Modern trainers are the spawn of the devil. Have a read of Born to Run for the science behind it, loads of proof and evidence online to support minimalist running as well.Any tips how to get it to piss off?
Plantar Fasciitis ffs
A week ffs sure you just didn’t have a thorn in sock . I’ve had it 3 month. Ow and no better although I did still run the first monthI've had it a couple of times, the last time it was so bad I was limping - even considered getting a walking stick tbh, thankfully it went after about a week of pure agony.
No it honestly didn't last that long, I don't think I could have coped with it much longer ffs I feel for you fella xxA week ffs sure you just didn’t have a thorn in sock . I’ve had it 3 month. Ow and no better although I did still run the first month
Put your foot flat on the floor when sitting down and use your toes (using your big toe the most) to crawl your foot away from you and repeat. You’ll have been stretching your big toe towards the sky no doubt so doing what your brain says your ligament needs but not what it actually does. You need to contract ligaments when they’ve been overstretched but your brain says stretch.Any tips how to get it to piss off?
