Pissing it

I’m a fully paid up happy clapper, but one step at a time eh?

We are in this division for a reason, we now have a team of players who are predominantly from this league or lower and we have 23 other teams in this division who are all desperate to do the same as we want to and a lot who would want nothing more than to take us as a prized victory. We may end up walking the league and I really hope we do, just like any supporter does, it'll have been a great entertaining season for us, but we aren't there yet by a long long way and just judging by todays match thread, there's a hell of a lot on here who are still suffering the hangover from previous seasons, doubting the team and nervous when things don't go instantly our way and rightly so, we've been through some really crap times in recent years and every time we have thought we have turned that corner, things go to crap. I'm absolutely positive it's going to be different this time and we are going to have a great season, but we are going to have some very tough league games and we are going to lose games. We have no divine right to promotion this season, the players are going to have to work damn hard all season long to achieve it, even with confidence building and us having the abilty to score goals this season, there will be blips and our systems will be found out and we will get injured players. So yeah, sure, be confident, but also be realistic please, it's not going to be a simple walk in the park, it's going to be a long hard marathon....
Paragraphs would be good.

Whilst I do think we will be promoted, this attitude embarrasses me from my fellow supporters. There has and will be teams with more than enough to trouble us. I’m confident but we’ve a long way to go yet!
Its all about BRAINS imo.

That is just one paragraph.... Seriously folks.... Shall..... I..... Start..... Breaking.... Things.... Down... Into..... Single...... Words..........

I know it's a Saturday night and no doubt the beer of victory has been flowing for many, but surely people have the attention span to get through reading a single paragraph...

@Julio's obviously pissed out of his tiny mind on alcopops but after only a few wins a magesque sense of superiority is starting to appear in some of our more naive supporters.

long season but gotta say ross has built a quality first team and the academy lads have given us a competitive squad for a long season

Saved to read when I'm off my tits.

Our defensive side isn´t that strong, but midfield and forward options when fit, are far beyond most teams in the league.
We have scored 2-1-3-4-2 - an average of 2.4 goals per game with 3 away games out of 5. Conceded 4, an average of 0.8
With Wyke, Sinclair, McGeady, Watmore to return, we would expect our attack to improve, but our defence could be better.

It could go wrong if we have a lot of injuries but unlikely we will get found out. Unlike the other teams at the top, we are missing key players and winning without even playing well.

Still I gotta think we will be around W 30 D 10 L 6 for the season with an average of 2.5 + goals per game. 100 points 100 goals.

Mark me down as we are going to piss the league, but no need to be arrogant about it.

were not even playing very well and still winning. the one time we have propely clicked we absolutely tore Scunthorpe a new one. it was like watching a cup game, you wouldn't have thought the sides were in the same league

i'd be amazed if we don't get promoted. (well unless something happens to McLaughlin forcing us to play Ruiter) our squad is ridiculous for this level especially when the injured lot start filtering back through

i suspect we'll hit the top over the next few weeks and will be very very hard to shift

This is my feeling once we hit top spot we are gonna be very hard to shift from that spot

Its like people have PTSD after the last few seasons. There is nothing wrong with saying we are a cut above this level. Infact the first few games proove it

This, people are terrified to big us up in case it goes wrong. Its almost like they believe if they say/type it, it wont happen. I think we will piss it also. I also realise a couple of injuries and we may well be fucked.

My glass runeth over at the minute. We didn't look very good today and won. Who the fuck told me that Wimbledon were a passing team before the game yesterday?

We get battered (but not beaten) by sides with big lads up front

Well Peterborough are pissing it atm, but hopefully they blow up.

Probably an injury/suspension away from a defeat
