He wasn’t the greatest footballer in the world but he always tried his best and he’s a top bloke. Good luck to him.

Who would you say was?
He got tortured basically every week. I actually felt sorry for him when we played Hull away. He was having his arse ripped apart by their right winger, every single attack they targeted him
I know this is off piste from the thread, but i agree. I still get irrationally angry about Phil Parkinson even though he's long gone. The most depressing and joy sapping appointment (more than Wilkinson and Buxton) in my 42 years.I still can’t believe we appointed Parkinson.
It still feels like Donald did it to teach the fans a lesson, I’m not being serious but how can anyone come up with that as a serious decision.
Man marked Zola out of that game at RokerGareth Hall for me !
Was it from the shadow of his belly ! Never seen such poor condition in a player for his debut !Man marked Zola out of that game at Roker
Aye canny lads normally nut women on nights out likeHe seemed to be a canny lad and tried.
Possibly his level.
Gareth Hall looked out of his depth in the top flight, but he at least had a decent career in the 2nd tier with Chelsea and Swindon into his 30s. McFadzean is 28 and barely managed a regular game in League One.Gareth Hall for me !
