nee Frank Lampard29 goals in 120 games for Man City.
Not bad a bad return from midfield for a lad of 20.
Actually, to be fair, Foden's scoring record is similar to a young Lampard at West Ham. Stepped up a gear at Chelsea.

Spain didn't go to penalties in WC. Needed pens v Italy in the Euro 08 QF and vs Portugal the Euro 2012 SF.
I didn't know this off the top of my head, i just looked it up because i didn't remember penalties in the WC.
Needing pens twice in the euros reinforces your point though, as they never conceded a single goal in knockout rounds of those three tournaments, but didn't exactly blow teams away, despite being very good.
Probably only Italy in the 2012 final and Russia in the 08 semi were decent wins, 4-0 and 3-0 respectively.
He's better at this age.nee Frank Lampard
Don't be a dick mate, it doesn't suit you.
haha yes they do there were loads of posts yesterday man
Spain were pragmatic they’ve even said that themselves
I think you’ve got amnesia
keeping the ball really well doesn’t mean you aren’t pragmatic mate.

Think we're going off on a pointless tangent here.
If people are criticising Southgate for not giving you a chance that's clearly wrong, as he does. Reallu havent seen much criticism like that myself.
He's absolutely brilliant but I think his finishing could be better, is allYou’re having a laugh, good enough to get in city team at twenty years old, scored some cracking goals, for me he’s the complete player and he will only get better. Wish we had him.

Sure I've missed out 5 obvious starters there like. Grealish and rashford.
Grealish as a holding midfielder and Drop stones ahead of Maguire?Swap Henderson for Grealish and take out Stones for another CB who isn’t a car crash waiting to happen and that’s a very good line up.

I hope that was aimed at Woody! You’re having a laugh, good enough to get in city team at twenty years old, scored some cracking goals, for me he’s the complete player and he will only get better. Wish we had him.
That is potentially a superb starting 11. If only we could live up to our potential.-----kane------

Rashford will start over Foden IMO-----kane------

He’s England’s best and most consistent defender by a country mile. It's a shame TAA's form has dipped. It just doesn't feel right for me playing Walker at right back/ in defence at all. Pretty good headache for Gareth to have with the attacking / midfield options. I think our CM pairing is make or break for our chances this year. It's a shame Foden doesn't have an identical twin, he'd probably be wasted in CM, but I think he'd be incredible there too for England.
Stones has been largely very good for the last 3 years and incredible this seasonSwap Henderson for Grealish and take out Stones for another CB who isn’t a car crash waiting to happen and that’s a very good line up.
No. Its not close either IMOGrealish has to play ahead of sterling. Better player
I've watched a lot of Man City's games, and there's no denying I think he's a good defender and player. He's not been outstanding for England in the last 5 or 6 games. He's been booked and sent off in that time period too. I think playing alongside the likes of Dias/Laporte has been great for him. I rate Stones, but he's got mistakes in him too.Rashford will start over Foden IMO

I’d actually play him at CB I think, with Reece James at RB

England’s last 5 games were against Belgium, San Marino, Albania, Poland and Iceland. Walker played in 4 of them and they conceded 1 single goal.I've watched a lot of Man City's games, and there's no denying I think he's a good defender and player. Is Trippier doing well in Spain? I haven't watched much Spanish football this season.-----kane------

Aye. Playing consistently well and Atleti have a good defensive record, although that’s to be expected under SimeoneIs Trippier doing well in Spain? I haven't watched much Spanish football this season.
Djilibodji could probably look excellent in a defence that gets tested around once every two premier league games.Stones has been excellent for City this season.
