PERSPECTIVE

Reality check, we are are third tier club, which isn't awash with cash. We have appointed a manager who has a decent record in our division, who hopefully has the knowledge and contacts to develop our squad into a team capable of bringing automatic promotion. The time to judge him is at the endow the season, so I suggest we all rally round and give him some support.

What are you talking about, I’ve not slated our fans they are our biggest asset. Social Media is a huge issue and I’m sure the club members are aware of what’s being said. Far far to many negatives on here, what chance a positive outcome?.

We’re no different to any other club with a huge fan base.
 
Parkinsons football will be turd, but thankfully we are used to that so if its turd but works he'll be ok.
People hark back to the wonderful football of Allardyce whilst most other clubs decry his horrible footballing ways.
My biggest concern is that we don't have a squad capable of playing the hoofball style.

Dont have players for passing it around at the back line either though mate.We piss about cd to fb back to cd out to other fb back to cd in to mid back to cd to then hoof.

The sideways passing does my head in.
As bad as running with the ball, stopping and passing it back.
They all need a compass to show them where the goal is.

All he has to do is get them fitter, organise the shambolic defending, push them 20 yards up the pitch and instill some self belief... basically get the best out of them. Ross couldn't do that but this bloke has a track record so I agree.. give him a chance but I doubt it'll happen by tomorrow so brace yourself for a fuck off geet big whinge fest!

Another plus is that PP most likely has the right "minerals" to handle the expectations of SAFC, and the pressure that comes with it. I also think he'll command respect from the players, as he's really not the sort to argue with. I'm quietly confident.

I want every Manager to succeed however you need to be someone special to raise this club from the third division I am afraid Parkinson is not that man if he does then thats fantastic

I don’t think we should be passing around at the back either. We should be a shit Liverpool! Whose style of play is really basic. There is so little creativity in that team it’s amazing that it works. But it does and we should be able to implement that hard work high press and cause league 1 defenders problems. We don’t we sit back and let teams come at us. The same is going to happen now but hopefully we’ll be better drilled. We will attack far less as the manager has already said we commit too many players forward! So we are still expecting to just score based on bits of magic and not by actually creating a load of chances.
It may well work out better than Ross but i doubt its going to be pretty.

Zzzz Social Media gives people a voice and ability to express themselves like never before. All clubs have media officers and most club members use Social Media in one form or another if not all and read some of the crap that all of our FIFA PlayStation managers on here spout. It’s bloody hilarious but disheartening true supporters generally provide a measured view based on decades of following Sunderland it’s not been an easy ride and never will, we are a club
In massive decline and in danger of worse.

Be grateful for what we have right now lads and lasses.
