Personal accident cover

Just taken out an insurance policy for my car, the provider wanted £50+ for personal accident cover which seems way more than average, other providers (whose insurance premiums were much higher) were offering it for as little as £30.

Can you buy this as a standalone product? If so, where from? I have had a quick google search but most results are taking me through a whole car insurance quote.
