People who work on building sites

Or you could look at the bright side, and those wonderful summer day's, up on a roof, radio on, sun and Vitamin D for free, then a nice cold beer or two in the pub after, instead of sweating in a stuffy office, breathing in people's stale farts
Nobody goes in the office these days man. We’re all working from home, doing the minimum to get by whilst watching old episodes of The Sweeney all day. I went thru two pairs of carpet slippers last year.

Hard working lads. They certainly put the graft in and I wouldn't fancy it in the cold either.
When I have done a full day in the garden or doing DIY even just at my own glacial pace I'm ready to fall asleep the minute I get back in the house. Those lads are far fitter and work much harder.
And built that up over the years ( pun intended)
My job isn’t physically demanding and when I’ve done 1/2 a day of real graft I’m walking like 09 for 3 days

Couldn’t pay me to sit behind a desk all day looking at a screen.

Each to there own , nowt better than being on site though the craics class
I took a couple of weeks off to work on bringing the house I bought up to some sort of standard that it could be lived in. We're still not quite there but got loads done those two weeks. The craic was brilliant. I had sparkies, plumbers and plasterers in different rooms on same days. The heating was off and it was cold so the fires were blazing with proper coal (when you could still buy proper coal). The piss taking between the "pipe benders" and "mud slingers" was funny. Constant piss taking. The sparkies seemed to be the top of the pack since they had to do more qualifications.

Cost me a fortune for the trade lads. I did as much as I could myself with my old man helping but I'm not touching electrics or central heating and I wouldn't be able to do the plastering.
