People testing your pain threshold........🤢

Ingrown hair at the top of my bum was still to this day the worst pain i have ever had
I had that when I was younger. Pain was off the scale and came on pretty quickly. I was at a mate’s house and his mother was so concerned she wanted to take me straight to A&E. I had it operated on and stitched up shortly afterwards under general anaesthetic, whilst in recovery ward the consultant came round with his entourage and prodded really hard with his finger right on the wound. Nearly had to peel me off the ceiling from that, the absolute bastard.

Who gets frozen up for a filling?
Softies, that's who.

I had root canal a few years back and didn't get frozen.
It was painful but nothing you couldn't handle.

I'm not particularly tough or owt but I seem to have a high pain threshold.

The worst thing for me was many years ago when I was a bairn they used to put that mask on you to take a tooth out. The smell of rubber was awful and you'd have mad dreams, then wake up with a mouth full of blood and a jelly gum.
Not pain, but a bloody horrible experience.

It’s a horrid pain mine was the same thought I was getting a bad back, I was at work on nights woke up next day in absolute agony

I went to the doctor when I was about 18 with a verucca on me right foot.
He says "put your foot up on my desk" ...so I did, after whipping off my sock.

He then handed me a leather strap and says "bite on this", and proceeded to cut cut the thing out with a scalpel and pair of scissors, not bothering with any anaesthetic.
The sweat was pissing out of me.

Ouch man . The one I had I used to steep my foot in surgical spirits, then my dad would gently go around the perimeter picking at it with a sewing needle . It took months to dislodge the bugger but I much prefer that over what happened to you 😅

Where were you drinking??
Was in Vegas not that long ago, and the "trendy" bar in the casino was about $8 a beer. $25 for a rum and coke sounds a bit much. (plus tip ofc)
Bar next to harrahs Hotel. Caught a bus down town Monday night and the beer prices were a hell of a lot cheaper.

I went for my chiropodist appointment for my ingrown big toenails, my regular lady wasn't who I was seeing but I didn't think it would be too bad.........I was wrong.
The moment she set about my feet she had a glint in her eye and was doing it with gusto, so much that I tensed up and sensed pain incoming.
When she got to my big toes she said "I'm going to try and look under this nail so brace yourself", I looked at her and I immediately thought of Steve Martin in little shop of horrors and just about managed not to swear (I made a few noises, I said "since it's fused to the skin and ingrown into the corner if in doubt cut it out")....she wasn't gentle and I was clenching everything while she said "I'm sorry, I'm sorry'............
I think I'll make sure I see my kinder, gentler lady next time
Things you didn’t know you didn’t know #6283637282 I was getting my nails done the other day and found out the difference between a podiatrist and a chiropodist ………….. I was gobsmacked.
Didn’t realise you can practice as a chiropodist after a two week course.
Well according to my podiatrist anyway.
