Paying off debt

Yes and we have also tripled the overdraft in the last reported financial year and borrowed close to £30 million on top of that so god knows whats lurking in the next set.

Then you have to rebuild a team to get out of the Championship and once you do start all over again with a PL one...........going down has no benefits and the rebuilding job we need to do is much easier if we stay up which alas looks unlikely now..........

I didn't say, nor suggest, there was any benefit in being relegated. I just meant that it won't be as catastrophic as it could have been due to the wage reductions.

The profits sod all considering what they owe him and I bet he would walk tomorrow if someone offered him his money back............
Probably - his own fault for not doing due diligence. How that clueless bastard is a successful billionaire I'll never know.

How much has he spent in total though?
Surely transfers have just about broken even???

We haven't been reducing our debt. It's been going up.

Not with the banks from my understanding. With Ellis short, I was under the impression he has been subsidizing the club through loans payable back to himself not from banks as when the financial reports come out I'm sure I remember a report stating that the loss of the club would be covered by Short. Prior to short, drumaville lacking the financial power of short, relied on banks etc and this is why when short came in, our debt was restructured to allow us to pay it off.

Partially true, the overdraft is rising too though

The last accounts show a bank loan of £27 million that wasn't in the last ones and an overdraft of almost £40 million that's tripled in a year..

We didn't really restructure any debt with Ellis Short all that happened was he took it over and converted it to equity in the club..

Think he stopped doing that a while ago. He is guarantor on loans though or we wouldn't get them.
