Pay Rise

only had about 6% over the last 9 years, and the pension has gone up over 3
the good old public sector though eh......

I work in the NHS - have had a 0% pay rise in 7 years, plus increased pension each year...don’t let that get in the way of your blinkered view on public sector working though

Why didn't you get the 1% last year like everyone else mate?

Base rate of pay is going up 15% (£8>£9.20) for lowest band colleagues at my place, but lots of changes to terms and conditions as well, some night shift will be worse of due to loss of weekend premiums.
people in the next 2 bands being made redundant as well.
 
sweet fuck all, I was due a payrise for a new job I got 2 years ago which they eventually gave me last November. However because of that I don't get the annual 1.5%
 
No + 8 bank holidays

That will be the 8 days in lieu of bank holidays, plus the silly hours many NHS have to work mean a good number deserve these extra days over and above what the rest of us get.

Junior doctors really do need more help.
